Optimizing with the environment in mind
This is why we are replacing low-energy-efficiency solutions with modern technology. The improvement of our processes has resulted in notable savings in energy and non-renewable natural resources.
01Automation
Modern production lines reduce production idle time to the minimum. Actuating systems not taking part in the manufacture of the current product batch are automatically disconnected from power supply.
02Saving natural resources
We could list our good practices for hours! We have extended the time of use of galvanizing baths in order to reduce pollution emissions. On the powder coating line, we recover 100% of the used powder. Reusing the water already used in the powder-coating and galvanization processes makes it possible to save up to 10,000 m3 of water a year.
03Recycling
Industrial waste, such as galvanizing dross, zinc ash, scrap metal or PVC, is reused or recycled. All out of concern for our planet’s non-renewable resources.
Energy from our own sources
We generate our own energy! An 8,000 m<sup2</sup> solar panel system with a capacity of over 1MW makes it possible to obtain solar energy to produce electricity covering 1/6 of the plant’s daily demand. We installed the panels on our proprietary structure.
Climate-neutral products
40% of energy consumption in Europe is generated by the construction sector. Fully aware of the industry’s impact on the environment, we urge customers to make responsible choices. Our products are made with sustainable development in mind. The pro-environmental actions undertaken by us result from our genuine concern for future generations.
01Energy labels
We have nothing to hide! In order to clearly define the energy performance of our garage doors, we use the labelling system of the prestigious European Door and Shutter Federation for garage doors and the Lower Silesian Energy and Environment Agency (Dolnośląska Agencja Energii i Środowiska s.c.) labelling system for windows and doors.
02Environmental Product Declaration
The Building Research Institute’s recommendation under the type III environmental declaration for gates and fence systems is a reliable confirmation that WIŚNIOWSKI products are the best choice for sustainable construction.
03PVC recycling equals less CO2
When buying new PVC windows, it is worth asking whether the window contains recycled PVC (recyclate). A recycled core saves raw materials, energy, and CO2 emissions during production. The manufacturing technology of the PVC DEVELO windows makes it possible to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 2 tonnes per each tonne of raw material used.
04Quality that lasts
We design and manufacture to ensure the longest possible life of our products – it guarantees peace of mind for years and is in line with our mission to protect the environment, because in practice, less waste means more oxygen.
Heat recovery
In order to ensure that our office building always has the right temperature, we use modern installations that allow us to recover energy from used air.
